Map of the Western Cape.

The beauty of the Western Cape is diverse, yet awe-inspiring. The mountains, fynbos, wildlife, rugged coastline and white beaches, unspoiled countryside, and our beautiful people are unique.

I have lived here all my life. It is in my blood and in my soul. I'd like to share my passion with you and make your visit an unforgettable eco- experience. I specialise in small groups or individuals to ensure quality personal and individual attention. Your enjoyment and wellbeing is my pleasure.

Eco-Information on the Western Cape, South Africa.
Small pockets of Afro-Montane forest occur on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain above the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. One of the earliest references to these were made in Jan van Riebeeck's journal on Sunday, 9 June 1652, when the forests on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain were discovered.

The demand by the early settlers for wood for building the first fort, houses, a jetty, wagon making, ships, bridges, firewood, etc. eventually reduced the forests to the remnants that we have today.
